Service agents have a script response and nothing seems to be customized. I tried to contact my hired lawyer and did not get a response. I tried calling and emailing. I get a very general answer that says, please, give us 48 hours to respond. I will continue to use Whitestone, bc I am dedicated to resolving my credit/debt situation. However, I wish I had known that I could do it without legal representation. We didn`t have a good experience at all!3 calls once on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up. No one could reach a legislator who could help us. We filed legal documents on October 29 and called several times over the past few weeks without any reminders.

I am considering ending my participation in these activities and hiring a lawyer to sue my lawyers for repayment of what I have paid into the program. I could have done better myself.

Whitestone Legal Group deceived me and did not contact my creditors to settle with them on my behalf, and when Citi Bank (one of my creditors) sued me, they did not defend me in court and they did not even hire a lawyer for me, which severely affected my situation in the case. Now I am threatened with garnishment of wages and the bank account can be destroyed. And they even refuse to pay me back my money that I paid for 13 months so I can look for my creditors and try to fix what they ruined.
Every time I call Whitestone customer service and Kami answers the phone, I`m happy to hear her voice because I know I`m getting specific and clear answers to my questions. Solving my problem may not be something she has control over, but at least I know she will do everything she can to make sure I get the best information available. UPDATE: In response to Whitestone`s response, I also contacted you directly through your website after logging into our account. (I won`t leave any personal information in a public review here.) We have been trying to reach EVERYONE in Whitestone for over three months. No reminder. No emails. Nothing. Nevertheless, we pay on time every month. Over the past 29 months, we have paid them $16,593.84.
Of this amount, they paid $2445.08 of the debt we wrote to them. Everything else is listed as in “Pre-settlement” without further explanation of their services. Just curious, how can we cancel? We have checked their website, but there is no indication of a cancellation. Seriously, a recall would at least be poor customer service. I have been in the Whitestone Legal Group program for three years and have paid them automatically so far, but my top three creditors have not been resolved.
